What is Endometriosis?
Endometriosis refers to the growth of endometrium outside the uterus, instead of facilitating uterus as its lining. It causes poor reception of uterus to the hormones and undesirable physiological changes around the vagina. This results in improper menstrual cycles and eventual infertility. Endometriosis commonly involves ovaries, fallopian tubes and the tissue lining the pelvis.
